Dr. Kathryn Jablokow teaches mechanical engineering and engineering design at Penn State University. She has authored four graduate-level engineering courses and helped create several new programs at the university. She also spearheaded a massive open online course (MOOC) on innovation, change, and creativity, alongside two of her colleagues from Penn State. Her current research examines high-performance design teams, ideation, and innovation in engineering, and her work has appeared in prominent journals such as International Journal of Engineering Education and the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning. Dr. Jablokow is the director of the Educational Research & Methods Division of American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and a member of the Steering Committee of the North American Chapter of the Design Society. Her professional contributions have won her several accolades including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Ruth and Joel Spira Outstanding Design Educator Award. Dr. Jablokow completed her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in electrical engineering from Ohio State University.
Dr. Sanjay Jain is an associate professor at the School of Business at George Washington University. He teaches master’s-level programs in project management and business analytics. Before GW, he spent a few years working at the Grado Industrial & Systems Engineering Department at Virginia Tech. His research covers supply chain management, project management, operations management, and simulation modeling.
